Who We Are
At Riverbloom Farms, we're a family-run flower farm rooted in love, hard work, and a deep appreciation for beauty. Founded by a mother and her two daughters, our farm is a growing legacy built on care, creativity, and connection. We specialize in premium dahlia tubers, vibrant seasonal blooms, and thoughtfully grown seeds, all cultivated with heart in the rich soil of Skagit County. Every bloom we share reflects the story of who we are and the legacy we're cultivating together.
Rhonda (middle)
A teacher by day and grower by heart, I’ve spent the past decade guiding students into medical careers while nurturing flowers on our hobby farm. I’m married to my husband, Daryl Hamburg, and I have a wonderful son, Todd, who is a nurse. I’m also an identical twin, and that lifelong bond has shaped how I connect with others. The love I have for my family, friends, and students is woven into everything I do.
Riverbloom Farms is more than a business. It’s a legacy in the making. It’s a place where I’ve been able to share my love of growing, teaching, and creating beauty with my daughters, season after season. Building Riverbloom alongside my family has been one of the great joys of my life. I hope it becomes something lasting—something rooted in love, care, and connection for generations to come.
Kayla (right)
Always in the garden or researching the newest farming techniques, Kayla’s photographs capture the true beauty of what we grow. She works full time, is a wife and mother of two, and somehow still finds time to help shape the look and feel of Riverbloom through her photography and floral styling. She’s also our go-to knowledge expert, constantly exploring new ideas, refining our growing practices, and helping us make informed, thoughtful choices in the field. Whether she’s behind the lens, in the soil, or solving a tricky growing problem, Kayla brings intelligence, creativity, and heart to everything she touches.
Shondra (left)
The detail queen. Shondra works in healthcare and is married with a goofy goldendoodle named Murphy who keeps things lively. She’s the one making sure our ever-changing inventory stays organized and on track. With a knack for marketing and a great sense of humor, Shondra brings energy, heart, and a lot of laughter to Riverbloom. She’s also our resident sweet pea enthusiast, growing, tending, and trellising some of the most fragrant and beautiful blooms on the farm. Her love for the little things shows in every petal and post.
Nestled in the heart of picturesque Skagit County, our family-run farms are rooted in a shared passion for flowers and the joy they bring. "Absolutely stunning flowers and incredible quality! You can tell these growers truly care about their craft; the vibrant blooms and freshness of every stem are proof. The arrangements lasted longer than expected and brought so much beauty into my space. It’s clear that everything they grow is done with love and intention. Highly recommend for anyone looking to support local growers and bring more natural beauty into their life!" -Br

"I always have a wonderful experience when I visit Riverbloom Farms.
The dahlias are beyond beautiful, and you can tell they really put a lot of care into every flower!
The staff is so warm and welcoming and will answer any questions you may have.
I encourage you to go out there to see it for yourself; you will love it!"
-Corinne Kaptein
'This farm keeps my home fresh and colorful from spring through fall. Their bouquets are so easy to pick up at various roadside stands (Mt. Vernon, Hoag Road, and Bow) that I have no excuse when my house is drab without them. I unfortunately have a black thumb (though I blame it on the lack of effort from the flowers). What I could only wish to learn about greenery, this talented family is able to cultivate and produce in glorious abundance.'
